We were recently approached by construction company, Willmott Dixon, to film a charity event. Thinking it would be a one-off fund raiser we were surprised to discover it was a little bit more than that. They’d organised an 800 mile baton relay involving 200 members of staff, visiting a number of WD construction sites over a 3 week period. Running, cycling, walking, canoeing, horse riding, rafting, rollerblading, you name it, they were doing it. Certainly not your average raffle!
We met the guys in Plymouth for the big ‘off’ and spent a day filming them visiting a few sites. We took in the amazing Plymouth Hoe, the waterfront and the Barbican. Then we handed over to the gopro for the next 20 or so days to film some POV footage before meeting up with them in Bristol for the final day crossing of the Clifton Suspension Bridge and the finish at the Mud Dock. It was a pleasure to film and edit!
